What we collect and why

Newsletter — if you subscribe in the footer, your email address is collected to send you our news and product releases. Our mailing list is managed by Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), whose servers are located in the United States. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Traffic statistics — only if you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate region, device type). This data is processed by Google LLC in the United States. If you refuse, no analytics cookie is set.

Sales representative search — if you type a city or postal code on the Contact page, that text is sent to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim service to locate it on the map. We do not store it.

Email correspondence — if you contact us, we keep your message and contact details for as long as needed to respond and follow up.

Technical logs — our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) for security purposes.

Cookies

This site sets the following cookies:

  • pll_language — remembers your language choice (EN/FR). Essential, no consent required.
  • hemera_consent — remembers whether you accepted or refused analytics cookies. Essential, no consent required.
  • _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics statistics. Set only if you click Accept on the cookie banner.

You can change your choice at any time using the Manage cookies link in the footer.

Communication outside Québec

The information described above may be processed outside Québec, mainly in the United States (Mailchimp for the newsletter, Google for statistics). Before using these services we assessed the privacy factors involved (Law 25 privacy impact assessment) and rely on the contractual data-protection commitments of these providers. We never sell personal information.

Retention

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for a maximum of 14 months. Email correspondence is kept only as long as necessary for the purpose it was sent.

Your rights

You may ask to access, rectify, or receive a copy of your personal information, or withdraw your consent, by contacting the person responsible identified above. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change and adjust the date shown above.
